The Company was founded in 2020 by Ben Corbett. Corbett & Co has developed a personalised service to clients, achieved by understanding each client’s expectations and maintaining good communication throughout.
We take pride in our work; providing the service which best suits you. We enjoy nothing more than working with you to deliver high quality outcomes that meet your needs.
Ben Corbett’s journey to becoming a Chartered Surveyor started on the family farm in North Herefordshire, a testament to his deep-rooted passion for the countryside, farming, and property. Ben’s early life was involved in farming, rural life and the gradual re-development of what was a run-down farm and Listed farmhouse into a modern enterprise.
Ben altered the direction of his career and undertook an MSc in Rural Estate Management at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester. In 2004, he joined Savills where he gained experience in managing mixed rural estates with a wide range of property types and ages requiring repair, maintenance and occupational agreements as well as a broader range of professional work before joining a smaller firm of Chartered Surveyors in Cheshire. By 2009, Ben returned to his home county of Herefordshire, where he eventually founded Corbett & Co Chartered Surveyors in 2020, following a successful seven-year tenure at a larger regional firm.
At Corbett & Co, Ben specialises in residential surveys, planning, rural consultancy and contentious property valuations throughout Herefordshire and its neighbouring counties.
Outside of his professional life, Ben enjoys country sports, walking his dog, and spending quality time with his family.
Linden grew up in rural Herefordshire, attending Hereford Cathedral School and serving pupillage with a multi-discipline firm of Auctioneers and Estate Agents before working in South Wales. He commenced practice on his own account as a Chartered Surveyor and was at the time one of the youngest qualified sole practitioners in the country.
After several years’ involvement with the appraisal and valuation of residential properties in Herefordshire and surrounding Counties, his fascination with the law and a burgeoning number of litigation support instructions led him to concentrate on that field.
After handing over the reins of his practice to his co-directors, Linden joined Corbett & Co in 2020, bringing with him over 40 years’ post qualification experience of the sale, valuation and survey of residential property over an area extending to the Midlands, Southern England and the Welsh Borders. He continues to be in demand from private and institutional clients to offer litigation support as an experienced expert witness and is also a trained mediator. He has a particular interest in Listed buildings.
Linden spends his spare time with a family which includes seven grandchildren and indulging his passion for classic and vintage cars.

Sarah is our flexible, self-employed PA who works for us in the office part of the week and from home whenever we need her.
Sarah moved to Gloucestershire, towards the end of the 90’s, having travelled west from Hampshire, through Surrey, Berkshire and Wiltshire having worked as a tax clerk, a bank clerk, photographer’s assistant and PA to a Marketing Director. She then worked for a training company, before becoming self-employed in 2016. With a passion for property and the countryside, she was delighted to have the opportunity to join Corbett & Co in 2020 where she assists the team with a variety of property-related admin jobs.
Between her and her husband they have three beautiful children who have given them seven glorious grandchildren, ranging in age from 23 to 14. Her other passions are cars and driving (so no problem with the Gloucestershire to Herefordshire journeys), aeroplanes (lots of air activity over the office) and agricultural machinery (hence the picture), her garden and dog-sitting for friends and family.
